Maybe it was just his built-in paranoia and/or skepticism courtesy of five years on what was supposedly a deserted island, but he wasn't prepared for this. Well, he likes to believe he's prepared for most anything, but this looks less like surviving and more like thriving.
So, people will have to forgive him if he's just too busy being skeptical of this place and questioning all of the motives behind it to really relax. Sure, those hot dogs smell good, and sure, those cats all look extremely adorable, but Oliver doesn't care. ]
